Australian finds 150-year-old overdue library book bricked into a fireplace

A resident of the coastal Australian town of Kiama discovered a tea chest bricked inside a fireplace during home renovations, containing an old book. The volume turned out to have been borrowed from the local library roughly 150 years ago and never returned. The man decided to return the book to the library.
