19-year-old drowns after jumping in to rescue a friend

A 19-year-old drowned on Thursday evening after jumping into the water to help a friend who was sinking. Two younger teenagers who also joined the rescue managed to reach the shore safely. Divers recovered the 19-year-old, who was taken to hospital but could not be saved.
