Poland's unemployment rate rises to 5.9% in July

Poland's unemployment rate edged up to 5.9% in July 2026 from 5.8% in June, according to preliminary data from the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy. The lowest jobless rate was recorded in Poznań at 1.4%, while Szydłowiec had the highest at nearly 23%.
