Polish tax authority sending 500 zł fines to up to 500,000 drivers for unpaid tolls

Poland's National Revenue Administration (KAS) may send fines of 500 zł to up to half a million drivers for unpaid motorway tolls. Last year a record 85,000 demand notices were issued, and the current action covers journeys made before 30 June 2023. Notices are being delivered by post.
