Vishal Bhardwaj to make Rashomon-style film on Tejpal rape case after conviction

Indian filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj has confirmed he is developing a Rashomon-style film based on the rape case involving Tarun Tejpal, former editor of Tehelka magazine. The Bombay High Court overturned a Goa sessions court acquittal and convicted Tejpal of rape, sentencing him to 10 years' rigorous imprisonment. Bhardwaj announced the project hours after the verdict was handed down.
