Hungary and Slovakia hit record-breaking temperatures above 40°C

Record temperatures were recorded in Hungary and Slovakia on Thursday, with thermometers exceeding 40 degrees Celsius in both countries. Croatia also experienced intense heat on the same day. The combination of no rainfall and extreme temperatures is causing severe problems across the region.
