EU's €3-per-item duty drives millions of Polish shoppers away from Temu and AliExpress

EU customs duties of €3 per item on goods from Chinese shopping platforms have sharply reduced the popularity of Temu and AliExpress among Polish consumers, according to a Mediapanel study. Both platforms have lost millions of users in Poland since the charges came into force. For many shoppers, the added customs cost makes buying from Chinese sites no longer worthwhile.
