Ukrainian MP wants Ukrainian historical names for Polish cities used in offices

Ukrainian MP Ihor Huź is calling on Ukrainians to widely use historical Ukrainian names for Polish cities such as Przemyśl and Chełm in official contexts. He argues Ukrainians have the same right to do so as Poles, who routinely use traditional names for Lviv, Lutsk and Rivne. The proposal concerns historical and linguistic naming and is likely to stir controversy in Polish-Ukrainian relations.
