Spain sends frigates to Ceuta as Morocco also deploys naval forces amid migration crisis

Spain deployed two navy frigates to Ceuta, its North African enclave, amid an ongoing migration crisis. Morocco also sent additional naval forces to the area, reportedly in response to a new migrant surge allegedly planned for mid-August. According to local authorities, between three and five thousand migrants are still present in the city.
