Accountant near Białystok embezzled 1.5 million złoty over two years

An accountant employed by a company near Białystok embezzled 1.5 million złoty over two years by transferring funds to her own account and booking them as payments to fictitious contractors. She used the stolen money to buy jewellery and household electronics, and also claimed fake travel allowances. She has now been charged and is awaiting sentencing.
