Car rental firms face up to 30,000 zł fine for renting to banned drivers

Poland's Ministry of Justice is planning to require car rental companies to verify that customers have no court-imposed driving ban before renting them a vehicle. Presenting a driving licence alone will no longer be sufficient. Companies that rent a car to a banned driver face a fine of up to 30,000 zł.
