Polish lawyers call for raising "significant property" threshold to 500,000 zł

Polish judges and criminal law experts are calling for the threshold defining "property of significant value" in the penal code to be raised from 200,000 zł to at least 500,000 zł. A draft amendment prepared by the codification commission has already been submitted to the Ministry of Justice. The change would affect how many property crimes are classified and sentenced.
