US builds 20 underground ammunition bunkers in Norway

The United States is constructing 20 underground ammunition bunkers in southern Norway capable of holding over 1,300 tonnes of explosives, according to Norwegian newspaper Moss Avis. The US State Department has also approved the sale of American artillery shells to Norway worth over one billion Polish złoty. The move signals further reinforcement of NATO's northern flank.
