Orbán lifts voluntary electricity-saving appeal in Hungary
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán announced that as of Friday, citizens no longer need to voluntarily conserve electricity. The appeal had been issued due to drought-related problems at Hungary's largest power plant. Budapest authorities said the situation had improved sufficiently to lift the call for savings.
