Meta to pay $942M total in New Mexico child exploitation lawsuit
A New Mexico court ordered Meta to pay $567 million in a child exploitation lawsuit, on top of the $375 million the company was ordered to pay in the same case in March. The combined total now stands at $942 million. The case concerns harm to children caused by Meta's social media platforms.
