Nigerian forces free over 300 hostages in country's largest single-day rescue operation

Nigerian security forces, including the military, police and counter-terrorism units, freed more than 300 abducted people held captive in the dense forests of Kainji Lake national park in north-central Nigeria. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu hailed the Wednesday operation as the largest single-day hostage recovery in the country's history.
