Google open-sources AI weather model WeatherNext for earlier hurricane warnings

Google has open-sourced an AI weather model called WeatherNext, which can deliver 15-day forecasts predicting the track and intensity of storms. The model is designed to enable earlier hurricane warnings. Making the code publicly available will allow researchers and meteorological agencies to build on the technology.
