Apple holds 65% of premium smartphone market as segment hits record 29% of global sales

Apple captured 65% of the premium smartphone market in the first half of the year, according to Counterpoint Research. The premium segment itself reached a record 29% of all global smartphone sales. That means nearly one in three smartphones sold worldwide now falls into the premium category.
