Iran and Oman near deal to partially reopen Strait of Hormuz to shipping
Mediators say Iran and Oman are close to an agreement to partially reopen shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. The United States has also signalled that a deal may be imminent. The strait is one of the world's most critical chokepoints for oil transportation.
