Levitating magnetic sensor detects faint brain activity and could hunt dark matter

Scientists have developed a levitating magnetic field sensor with a simple design capable of detecting ultrafaint brain activity, potentially rivalling far more complex biophysics instruments. The device could also be used in the search for dark matter, researchers say.
