Lithuania border guards find smuggling tunnel under Belarus fence

Lithuanian border guards discovered an underground tunnel dug beneath the border fence with Belarus near the village of Łotjezioro in the Druskininkai district. The tunnel was intended for the illegal smuggling of migrants into Lithuania. The find is another sign of continued migration pressure on the EU's eastern flank.
