Iran says deal with Oman on Strait of Hormuz is nearly finalised

Iran has announced that a deal with Oman concerning the Strait of Hormuz is in its final stages. Neither the United States nor Oman have commented on the proposed agreement. The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world's most critical oil and gas shipping lanes.
