Ban on Olbrychski joining Gdynia Film Festival jury lifted after PM's office intervened
Actor Daniel Olbrychski revealed in an interview with Magdalena Rigamonti that the Ministry of Culture had blocked his participation on the jury of the Gdynia Film Festival, apparently in retaliation for his criticism of former minister Hanna Wróblewska. Olbrychski wrote a letter to Prime Minister Donald Tusk about the matter. Following the interview's publication, the Prime Minister's office acted swiftly and lifted the ban, as confirmed by government spokesman Adam Szłapka.
