Orlen posts PLN 15.8 bn net profit in H1 — three times more than a year ago

Orlen reported a net profit of PLN 15.8 billion in the first half of the current year — three times more than in the same period a year earlier. CEO Ireneusz Fąfara argued that no single market player, not even Orlen, has a decisive influence over final fuel prices. He also claimed Poland has implemented the most effective fuel price-reduction mechanism in Europe.
