Orlen posts 7.7 billion zloty net profit in Q2, beating analyst forecasts

Orlen reported Q2 EBITDA LIFO of 13.9 billion zloty and net profit of 7.7 billion zloty, significantly above both year-ago results and analyst expectations. The refining-petrochemical and upstream extraction segments drove the strongest contributions. The group also maintained a record pace of capital investment.
