ZUS pays nearly PLN 7,000 to centenarians regardless of pension

Poland's Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) pays an honorary benefit to 4,262 people who have reached the age of 100. The payment is granted regardless of any existing pension or disability benefit and is adjusted upward each March during the annual indexation.
