Poland ranks 6th largest EU economy in 2025, overtaking Belgium and Sweden

Eurostat data shows Poland ranked as the sixth largest economy in the European Union in 2025, overtaking Belgium, Sweden and Ireland. Poland also maintained its position as the clear regional leader in Central and Eastern Europe. The result continues a multi-year trend of Poland rising in the EU economic rankings.
