Senate blocks Nawrocki's climate referendum bid for second time

Poland's Senate has for the second time rejected President Nawrocki's request to hold a nationwide referendum on EU climate policy. Deputy PiS leader Przemysław Czarnek said Poles had been "stripped of the right to speak on one of the most important issues for the country's future." KO MP Zbigniew Zembaczyński dismissed Nawrocki's effort, saying he was "trying to turn back a river with a stick."
