Rights groups call killing of journalist Amal Khalil by Israel a war crime

Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International said Israel seemingly deliberately targeted and killed Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil. The organisations also accused Israeli forces of obstructing rescuers following the strike. Both groups have characterised the killing as a war crime.
