Diego Forlán named new Uruguay national team manager

Uruguayan football legend Diego Forlán, aged 47, has been appointed manager of the Uruguay national team, the AUF federation announced. He replaces Marcelo Bielsa, who was sacked after Uruguay's group-stage elimination at this year's World Cup. It marks Forlán's debut as a national team head coach.
