Polish Senate rejects Nawrocki's proposal for referendum on EU climate policy

The Polish Senate on Wednesday rejected President Karol Nawrocki's proposal to hold a nationwide referendum on EU climate policy. This is the second time the Senate has turned down such a request from the president. The referendum will not take place.
