Iranian footballers who sought asylum in Australia receive passports

Iranian footballers Fatemeh Pasandideh and Atefeh Ramezanisadeh received Australian passports in Brisbane after seeking asylum following their protest during the Asian Cup. Immigration Minister Tony Burke personally handed them the documents. The two players had fled the Iranian regime and their new citizenship marks a major life change.
