Pakistan orders registration of foreign journalists, limits travel outside main cities

Pakistan's authorities have informed foreign media outlets that they must now register all their journalists and obtain approval before reporting outside the three main cities of Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi, AFP reported Thursday. The new rules tighten government oversight of foreign press operations across the country.
