Russian TA488 group steals emails via XSS attack — Polish intelligence agencies warn
Poland's Intelligence Agency and SKW, alongside services from other countries, have warned about Russian group TA488 (also known as Void Blizzard/Laundry Bear), which steals emails using an XSS attack. Victims do not need to click any link — simply opening an infected email is enough to trigger data theft. The attack is particularly hard to detect and targets government institutions and NATO-affiliated organisations.
