Examiner errors in Polish school-leaving exams changed students' fates

Polish school-leaving exam candidates are revealing that inspections of their graded papers uncovered marking errors this year, in some cases turning a fail into a pass or improving grades enough to secure a university place. The issue is especially serious because many students received their review appointments only in autumn — after university admissions had already closed.
