Glyphosate disrupts honeybee brains and cuts foraging by 13 percent
Glyphosate, the world's most widely used weedkiller, has been found to harm honeybees despite long being considered safe for them. After just three days of exposure, bees foraged 13 percent less and showed changes in brain chemicals linked to behaviour. Across a whole hive, researchers warn this could reduce honey production, weaken pollination, and threaten long-term colony survival.
