Uganda's SC Villa captain dies after gang attack near his home

David Owori, captain of Ugandan football club Sports Club Villa, died in hospital after a brutal attack by unknown assailants near his home. Details of the attack and the identities of the perpetrators have not been disclosed. The Ugandan football community is in mourning.
