2,000-year-old mystery inscriptions found in Valley of the Kings — not left by Egyptians

Mysterious inscriptions dating back roughly 2,000 years have been discovered in Egypt's Valley of the Kings — and they were not left by ancient Egyptians. The research was led by Prof. Ingo Strauch of the University of Lausanne. The find adds to a pattern of ancient visitor graffiti in the valley, which had already been drawing travellers since the time of Alexander the Great's conquest of Egypt.
