Poland's new OKI investment accounts to attract 2 million savers and PLN 100bn in three years
PKO BP's brokerage house forecasts that Poland's new Ogólnodostępne Konta Inwestycyjne (OKI — general-access investment accounts) will attract more than 2 million users and approximately PLN 100 billion in assets within their first three years of operation. Financial institutions are already preparing for the launch, though the legislation still awaits the president's signature. OKI are designed to encourage Poles to invest long-term.
