PiS MP Anna Paluch from Krościenko has occupied a subsidised council flat for 30 years despite earning over 20,000 PLN gross per month. She has stated she is not moving out because she is building her own house. Poland's development ministry is preparing legislation to end such abuses by enabling income checks on council-flat tenants.
