Two Iranian footballers who defied Tehran granted Australian citizenship

Two of the seven members of Iran's women's football team who were granted humanitarian visas while in Australia for the Women's Asian Cup have now become Australian citizens. The other five changed their minds and returned to Iran. The two women had previously refused to go back, defying the authorities in Tehran.
