Indian journalist Tarun Tejpal convicted of rape after acquittal overturned
The Goa bench of the Bombay High Court overturned a 2021 trial court verdict that had cleared Indian journalist Tarun Tejpal of all charges, and convicted him of rape. The case, which attracted widespread attention in India, dates back several years. Tejpal is the founder of the investigative magazine Tehelka.
