Alpine drought forces helicopters to deliver water to mountain huts

Alpine mountain huts are experiencing one of their most difficult seasons on record. A prolonged drought has dried up mountain springs that for years supplied water to staff and tourists alike. The only way to deliver drinking water to many locations is now by costly helicopter transport.
