Botic van de Zandschulp of the Netherlands caused a major upset in Montreal, beating fourth-seeded Daniil Medvedev 6:3, 7:6 (7-5) in the second round of the ATP 1000 tournament. The Dutchman will now face Hubert Hurkacz in the round of 16.
