Nawrocki refuses to be drawn into PiS infighting — has his own agenda

When Jarosław Kaczyński chose Karol Nawrocki as his presidential candidate, many in PiS feared he would sink the party. Now, with PiS in self-inflicted trouble, President Nawrocki is deliberately staying out of internal party squabbles, aware that rescuing the party may be an impossible mission. He is building his own position as a leader of the Polish right independent of PiS.
