Warner Bros. trial set for March — Paramount faces $1.3bn penalty for delay
A court has set the trial over Paramount-Skydance's acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery for 2–19 March, later than Paramount had hoped. Because the deal includes a penalty clause for each day past the 30 September deadline, the delay will cost Paramount at least $1.3bn. The total deal is already valued at $111bn.
