Explosive drone lands at Leipzig airport — homemade detonator fails to detonate

An explosive-laden drone carrying Semtex landed at Leipzig airport in Germany, but a homemade remote detonator failed to function, preventing a potential catastrophe, according to Bild. The drone was found near four Ukrainian Antonov cargo aircraft. German counterterrorism investigators are now analysing the Semtex to trace its origin and production site.
