Russia kills 17 in Kyiv — Ukraine failed to intercept a single missile

At least 17 people were killed in a Russian strike on Kyiv and the surrounding region, including eight at a railway station. Ukraine managed to intercept most drones but failed to stop a single Russian ballistic missile. The failure is attributed to a critical shortage of US-made ballistic missile interceptors used by Ukrainian air-defence systems.
