Infantino holds crisis talks in Morocco and heads to Colombia seeking support

FIFA president Gianni Infantino held crisis talks with senior officials in Rabat, Morocco, before flying to Cali, Colombia, for the inauguration of new president Abelardo de la Espriella. Infantino spent the past week in Morocco attending celebrations marking the 27th anniversary of King Mohammed VI's accession to the throne. The trips appear aimed at shoring up support from African and South American football confederations as his position at FIFA comes under pressure.
