Iran and Oman near deal on Strait of Hormuz shipping routes

Iran's foreign ministry spokesman announced that Tehran and Oman are in the final stages of concluding an agreement on shipping routes through the Strait of Hormuz. No details of the deal were disclosed. The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world's most critical oil transit chokepoints.
